Grace (Fernie)
My name is Gracie. I am ten years old. I am in grade five. I live in Fernie B.C all my life. I’m in a electric wheelchair.
My dreams for the future is I want to be a artist. I paint with my mouth because I can’t use my hands. I have a disability called Arthrogryposis. I can’t use my hands for painting so I use my mouth. I have some pictures of people painting with their mouth and I wanted to do that too! So now I’ve been painting with my mouth. I like painting out side things like flower’s with a sunset in the background. I live where there’s lots of flower’s and sunsets so its easy to think of something to paint! My mom would come and paint with me and I like that. I want to go to a school called Emily Carr artist school. I’d love to go to Hawaii so I could paint sunsets there. I want to paint because I love to paint. I think that an artist is a really cool job and I hope that I do get my dream some day.
