Tristan (Langley) - Accomplishment Entry
Hi! My name is Tristan and I am ten years old and in grade 5. My disability is that I have arthrogryposis. I use a mouthstick for writing and drawing and when I'm not using my mouthstick I use this computer which is very helpful when it comes to doing work. I have big dreams for the future.
I want to be a moviemaker. I want to entertain people and make them laugh. My movies could teach people certain lessons, such as how to save the environment. I'm also interested in animation. A lot of my characters can only be created by computer animation. The reason is because a lot of my characters aren't even human!
I wish I could be a paleontologist so I could discover new dinosaurs, dig up bones and do good things for the community of science. I really look forward to naming my own dinosaur (the problem is that I don't have an English\Greek dictionary.) I've always been interested in dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures and I want to get a chance to get close to what's left of the dinosaurs.
It would be cool to be an astrobiologist. Then I could continue the Search for ExtraTerrestrial Intelligence (SETI). I don't believe that all aliens are microscopic. I believe that there are larger aliens out there, waiting to be found. I could send out messages and wait for other messages to be sent here.
When I am older I hope to be living in Aldergrove in a nice white house by the country. I hope to have a working dog to help me do things around the house and to go everywhere with me. I hope I can get a housekeeper to look after the house for me.
The problem with all of these dreams is that no one can tell the future, so I can't tell you which job I am going to get or where I might be living, but I'm excited about the future and can't wait for it to come!
