Through the talents of Victoria animator Ken Leslie and his friends, Timmy Technology comes to life. SET-BC is pleased to host this animation of Timmy visiting a SET-BC student in a remote location. The 5-minute animation created with accessible materials includes a “beat-box” piece. The animation delivers the message from our ambassador, Timmy Technology, to our students around the province that “everyone has a gift inside.” Find more information about Dr. Ken Leslie and animation workshops.
He is hoping that you’ll invite him to visit. And don’t worry, Timmy will bus, train or fly anywhere in BC if you send him an invitation!
Timmy travels with a video/still camera, accessible books and ideas for fun activities and resources. He will travel by courier to your classroom and would love for you to show him the sites and take pictures of him visiting your favourite places. Timmy might even spend the night with you!
At school you can write stories and draw pictures about your fun time together. Your stories, drawings and photos can be published on the www.vvvoices.org website. Look below to see some of the fun places he’s visited.
You can find out when he is available by checking his social calendar.(

To book your time with Timmy, check the calendar for available dates and email Timmy at ttechnology@setbc.org, or call Daphne at 604-269-2233.

Timmy can’t decide what to wear for Hallowe’en – can you help him decide? Will he dress up as a cowboy, a cat or a pirate?
Summer 2009
Timmy has spent the summer just kicking the sand and relaxing. Now he’s ready to get down to the business of being a Good Will Ambassador for Virtual Voices Village and SET-BC.
He’s asked the crew here to think of some fun things to do with you at your school and in your community. Look for monthly activities that you can print off or download and be sure to check out Timmy’s calendar to invite him to visit. He would really like to collect a stamp from your school, town or city for his passport.
